We are very proud to have John as part of the Atlas team. He
has more that 30 years of experience in technical, project, corporate, and
business management and consulting. John, a registered architect, spent
most of his career managing large projects, including hospital
construction, secure communication networks for DOD/DISA and manufacturing
facilities for large American corporations. In addition, John has traveled
extensively and worked to bring new building technologies to several
countries in Africa. John has years of
experience in the hiring and management of administrative, professional,
and technical staff and line and staff roles in the design, construction,
telecommunications, facilities operations and maintenance, and development
businesses.
Mr. Rectenwald provides consulting services to Atlas's
sister company, Elite Personnel, to support the company’s operations,
growth, and transition into a larger regional company in the future. His
role as CEO of the Atlas Agency is to drive the company’s growth and to
push Atlas to become an important component of the larger regional company.
Mr. Rectenwald was graduated from the University
of Detroit with a B.S. in Architectural
Engineering and earned an Executive MBA from Michigan State
University.
Mr. Rectenwald served in the U.S. Navy for five years and,
after a tour in Vietnam,
spent three of those years stationed at Presidential Retreat at Camp David, Maryland.
Mr. Rectenwald resides happily in Takoma Park, Maryland.
Robin

Robin brings extensive expertise in executive search and
financial services to her new role. Before joining Atlas Agency, Robin
worked in the Washington,
DC area for six years,
recruiting for a respected retained search firm. During that time Robin
recruited and placed senior level candidates in financial services,
government contracting, manufacturing and not-for-profits. Before beginning
her career in executive search, Robin held a number of corporate positions
including Vice President at Chase, managing a wide array of domestic and
international business training programs and Vice President, Training
Manager at Chemical Bank, where she managed training for that bank’s Global
Securities and Foreign Exchange Division. Robin has experience working in
retail, institutional, investment, high net worth, trading functions and
private banking. Robin also managed professional development programs, on
Wall Street, for what is now Salomon-Smith Barney.
Robin brings us a whole new level of professionalism and
expertise as well as a fresh perspective from her role, believe it or not,
as a published romance novel critic! Nothing is ever dull here at the Atlas
Agency!
Elise
M. Ambrose
President
Elise purchased the Atlas Agency in May 2005 from Dolores
Ebert. Elise also owns Elite Personnel, an administrative and technical
staffing service located in Bethesda,
Maryland, which she purchased
in 2003.
Ms. Ambrose spent many years in management positions in
small businesses around the Washington,
DC area. She worked for Elite
Personnel for several years in the mid-90s and was very excited to have the
opportunity to purchase the company when the previous owner left to raise
her growing family.
Elise felt that the opportunity to purchase the Atlas Agency
was just too good to give up. It has a long established reputation for
quality service, a loyal customer base and wonderful, talented personnel.
It matches well with the administrative and technical services that Elite
Personnel offers. The combination is truly a "one stop shop" for
staffing and professional personnel services.
Ms. Ambrose recuperates at her home in the Shenandoah
Valley on weekends!
